Footage

 Since we (my daughter and I) are embarking on curating a portfolio of my work with the music and art scenes in the Central Valley it is the priority to try and gather up as much as we can to help establish an online and potentially an in person exhibition of the photography.


With that being important to insure that we document and provide the public access of these historically valuable pieces of our past. This would include the different performances and parties and the different people and their involvement in this community. 


Right now we are trying to collect footage on VHS, VHS-C, dvd, and various computer files (mp4, mp3, .wav, .pdf, .jpg etc) and printed materials that can be scanned.

Live shows, recording sessions, interviews, footage from events, flyers, photos, and anything that's live or recorded music , covers, remixes, and old and new tracks that feature local and regional music and artwork. 


We also want to create some new swag that features art that can be submitted by local artists.  Logos, slogans, and other regional creative works that we would have for sale on the website to insure we can be able to publish these catalogs and maintain the database for the future. 


The plan will be to try and seek out the people to update on their current circumstances in a news vlog featured online on different platforms.  This will be posted each week and will include the footage, music, interviews, and the three to five minute videos will promote the various aspects of this project.  This will provide the context and the basis to keep up the dialog within the community. 


We might eventually produce longer foam videos and host an event or livestream that will be focused on these different types of multimedia materials which we will update everything as we move towards these goals.

We will be giving credit for anything submitted and we will provide a copyright agreement to be sure legally we are in compliance with applicable laws. You can specify exactly what is able to be publicly posted and we will honor our wishes. If you think that you would like to publish original artwork or music for use in the videos and would like to be compensated for your worm, we are willing to negotiate fair and equitable use agreements for the contributions you make to this project.

  There's a story of a scene that once burned bright, every night if the week.  There were venues aplenty and bands from near and far, there was never a dull moment to speak of....
